JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
Develop short-term and long-term trade marketing programs and initiatives to promote product consumption across all sales channels (traditional, KA&MT).
Support trade marketing specialists/staff in planning and executing business strategies. Monitor and manage product consumption in regions to promptly propose appropriate promotional programs and strategies.
Plan the allocation of promotional targets for each region/channel to ensure the effectiveness of promotional programs.
Design control and evaluation forms for the implementation of promotional programs.
Responsible for monitoring distribution indicators of all products in regions/channels.
Implement, supervise, remind, and guide compliance with ISO documents; gather feedback and update adjustments related to the unit's ISO documents.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with category management specialists to develop trade marketing programs and organize promotional activities:
Coordinate with regional/channel trade marketing in planning the development strategy for the assigned product group across sales channels.
Responsible for developing and implementing short-term and long-term programs for the assigned product category.
Allocate promotional targets for regions/channels and monitor usage to ensure program effectiveness.
Monitor market conditions, inventory status, and competitor activities to propose and develop promotional and display programs to increase brand presence, resolve inventory issues, and proactively counter competitors in the responsible sales channels.
Implement and supervise program execution:
Inform regional/channel trade marketing managers and related departments about program implementation via email.
Estimate sales (brief sales) for marketing and trade marketing programs to regional/channel trade marketing managers.
Check the actual implementation of marketing and trade marketing programs in regions/channels through market visits.
Execute tactical programs when necessary (in collaboration with regional/channel directors) based on market realities to ensure the highest program effectiveness.
Update and monitor market conditions:
Regularly update competitor activities, analyze market conditions, and report to sales, promptly propose promotional/distribution and display programs to respond to competitor activities, and enhance Vinamilk's market image based on regional/business unit reports: Competitor activity reports; Market research company reports; Distribution reports from the merchandising team; Monthly consumption reports by volume and revenue (detailed by SKUs, channels, regions); Monthly trade marketing program cost summary reports detailed by SKUs, channels, regions.
Develop specific work plans and adhere to quarterly/monthly/weekly goals.
Visit the market to update conditions and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional programs.
Summarize and evaluate programs:
After program completion, prepare evaluation and summary reports for trade marketing programs by region/channel.
Settle costs and budgets used for trade marketing programs.
Implement merchandising:
Implement category display standards (planogram) for each channel and supervise the sales team's execution.
Conduct market visits to check actual execution and make adjustments as needed.
Monitor trade marketing budgets for regions/channels:
Monitor budget usage for regions/channels.
Comply with ISO document implementation:
Responsible for supervising, reminding, guiding, and ensuring compliance with ISO documents as required; responsible for gathering feedback and updating adjustments related to the unit's ISO documents to improve work efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education & Major
University degree or higher.
Preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
2. Experience
6-8 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Sales/Marketing, with at least 2 years in a similar position at large FMCG companies.
3. Professional Knowledge & Skills
Good knowledge of Business, Marketing, and Trade Marketing.
Understanding of finance.
Understanding of distribution channels/FMCG industry.
Communication skills.
Negotiation skills.
Decision-making skills.
Problem-solving skills.
4. Other Requirements
Proficient in MS Office.
Knowledge of management software systems: SAP/Solomon/Oracle.
Proficient in English.
